Professor Georg Seisenberger teaches classes relating to European and German Patent Law, including prosecution and opposition-appeal proceedings at the EPO as well as infringement and invalidity proceedings before German Courts.
In his private practice, Georg Seisenberger is a patent attorney at Grünecker, Munich, Bavaria/Germany. He has years of experience in working in every stage of the patent process, including early-stage IP opportunities, strategic preparation, and procurement of patents, and alignment of patent portfolios with business strategies. He has been involved in patent litigation before German civil courts, the Federal Patent Court (BPatG) and the Federal Supreme Court (BGH). He provides patent and litigation counsel to groups of all sizes – from individual inventors to Fortune 500-sized companies.
Mr. Seisenberger grew up in Pfaffenhofen, Bavaria, received his Diploma in Chemistry and his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Ludwig-Maximillians-University Munich, Bavaria. He is author of several peer reviewed articles regarding the studying of viral infections by single molecule imaging.
