Introduction to Intellectual Property

This course accommodates students who want to pursue a career in intellectual property law, as well as those students who simply want an introduction to intellectual property law and practices. A technical background is not required.

The course contains four main modules, including: 1) an introduction to intellectual property and an analysis of patents; 2) an analysis of copyrights; 3) an analysis of trademarks; and 4) an analysis of trade secrets

Analyze cases and/or statutes. 5. Apply the law to new factual contexts using the traditional IRAC format.
